Again, application for the Stanbic IBTC University Scholarship program is out for all eligible Nigerian students to apply and be granted.

Are you a student in Nigeria? Are you a citizen or a resident? If you’re any of the above mentioned, then this scholarship scheme is open for you to apply. All students who are interested and want to apply for scholarship schemes to study in Nigeria are therefore summoned to apply as the application is still ongoing.

Stanbic IBTC University Scholarship program has been in existence for decades. As part of their global efforts to help students in the diaspora, this scholarship program is designed for students who are indigenes or permanent residents to be sponsored to study in the university.

Scholarship Host

Stanbic IBTC University Scholarship scholarship program is designed mainly for indigenous Nigerian students who met all the criteria to be eligible for this award. After being offered the scholarship, the shortlisted students are hosted to study in any recognized government university in Nigeria by NUC.

Right now the application for the 2023 OBTC Scholarship is ongoing for students who are interested and are eligible to apply. All application submission is expected to end by the 24th of October 2023.

Scholarship Type

The Stanbic IBTC University Scholarship among many other scholarship schemes is an undergraduate scholarship program that is offered to individuals who wish to study their degree program. Such students will be enrolled in the university by Stanbic IBTC under the designated field.

Eligibility & Retirements for the Stanbic IBTC University Scholarship Program

• In order to be eligible to apply for the Stanbic IBTC University scholarship, applicants must be bonafide Nigerian and must have participated in the 2020 UTM examination.
• Interested applicants must have a benchmark of not less than 200 in their Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination UTME.
• Such students must have gained admission in any recognized public university in Nigeria with his/her admission letter as an evidence

Criteria to be Awarded

The Stanbic IBTC University scholarship program stands to be one of the most transparent scholarship programs, applicants are selected from the various 36 states in Nigeria and each state is entitled to not less than 2 candidates.

It is a first come first serve scholarship where individuals who applied first are granted this award until the allocated 100 slots is evenly distributed to all the 36 states including FCT.

Note: The exempted beneficiaries of this scholarship program are the Stanbic IBTC employees. Such a person who is working with the Stanbic IBTC will not be considered. In addition, their relatives or family members will not be granted this scholarship scheme. Even if they apply, they’ll not be considered.

Value of Scholarship Award

The Stanbic IBTC University Scholarship program is a fully funded undergraduate program where individuals are awarded a scholarship scheme to study in any university in Nigeria for free. Their tuition fee, books, and all types of academic expenses will be covered. The scholarship spans four years starting from your first year of shortlisting to the 4th year.
