Scholarship Type

The government of Bayelsa state scholarship program is granted mainly to students who are indigenes of Bayelsa state and are pursuing their careers in the undergraduate fields. Such students must also be enrolled full-time.

In order to be qualified for the Bayelsa state government scholarship program, applicants must meet up with the following requirements:

  • Applicants must be Bayelsa State indigene
  • Applicants must have at least five (5) credits grades in WAEC/GCE/SSCE including Mathematics and English and any 3 other relevant subjects obtained in one sitting only
  • Applicants must be full-time students studying any course in Polytechnic or University nationwide for undergraduate students.

Requirements (documents)

Applicants of the Bayelsa state government scholarship program are required to make their uploading on the scholarship website, to do that, below are the documents to upload:

  • A recent passport size photograph
  • JAMB Admission Letter
  • University/Polytechnic Admission letter
  • WAEC/GCE/SSCE Result/Certificate
  • Local Government Identification Letter
  • Birth Certificate or Declaration of Age

Note: all documents to be sent should be converted to Jpg formats and must not be more than 500kb.

Towards the ending of the application, submission of account details is very necessary. Applicants are advised to submit their Bank account details for the payments. Noteworthily, all bank details such as names and addresses must tally with other credentials which are submitted for assessment. Using another person’s account is therefore not allowed.
