The government of Bayelsa state scholarship program is granted mainly to students who are indigenes of Bayelsa state and are pursuing their careers in the undergraduate fields. Such students must also be enrolled full-time.

Bayelsa State Government Scholarship Requirements
In order to be qualified for the Bayelsa state government scholarship program, applicants must meet up with the following requirements:
- Applicants must be Bayelsa State indigene
- Applicants must have at least five (5) credits grades in WAEC/GCE/SSCE including Mathematics and English and any 3 other relevant subjects obtained in one sitting only
- Applicants must be full-time students studying any course in Polytechnic or University nationwide for undergraduate students.
